Preparing For the Storm

I live in Missouri. For the next several days we are to have snow and cold temps in the single digits. For those that use Celsius that means negatives. Such as 1 F is -17 C. Now in the event of an emergency I have a pellet stove and a generator to run it. I'm not worried about heat. They have named it Winter Storm Fern, which means to me that it is serious if they NAMED IT.

In the event of a power failure I will have heat and I'll put my fridge and frozen items on the deck to keep cold. I have frozen pizzas, and a bunch of snacks, along with sandwich meats, to last me for several days. I've a serious 4wd in case in an emergency I need to actually go somewhere.

The funny thing about going to the store was to see the milk, bread, and eggs, like in the event of an emergency people were making French toast.

I hope to update soon with photos of the actual "SNOPOCALYPSE" because since 2020, everything was the end of the world. I live in Sainte Genevieve, where at the least after a day of snow, our streets get plowed.

Thank you for reading.
