I Have Epic Dreams!
To start with I dream best when I nap. Take today for instance, I got up at 8 AM, drove my son to work which is an hour round trip, came home, crawled right back into bed and fell asleep. Then had a fun dream, sorta.
When I dream it is in color and with sound, lots of time its outside sounds, such as I'll be hearing the alarm clock sound in my dream and can't turn it off only to wake up to hearing the alarm going off. I also dream about the same five houses, three of which we've never lived in. One being my grandparents' farm house, one is a house I lived in as a teen, two I've never seen in real life, and the last one being a house I had wanted to buy back in 2000, but never did.
So last night's dream:
I had boarded my horse at a stable and came to visit him. I couldn't find him in the stalls and was informed he had passed and no one told me. My boyfriend (I'm married in real life, dunno why I had a boyfriend in my dream) was with me. Just a normal, everyday, average guy. A down on his luck looking man, dirty, unwashed and torn clothing enters the stable asking for money. We didn't have any cash to offer him, when suddenly a group of well dressed men enter the stable and said a phrase (I didn't hear what was said) and the man suddenly vanished, like he'd turned invisible. That part of the dream ended there.
Next part was apparently at my job. I was taking care of an elderly lady who lived in nursing home and no one ever came to visit her despite having a lovely photo of a younger man with blond hair, clean shaven wearing a striped polo hugging her, obviously a son, on her nightstand. She would keep repeating, "They had him," or, "They took him." She passed away and while cleaning her room and putting together her belongings to be donated as no one claimed them I found a small butterfly broach under her bed with a piece of paper that said something like: To my dearest mother, with love, Abraham. I took the broach and its piece of paper and clipped it to my sweater collar. When placing the photo of her and her son in the box I see the photo shift and under it is another photo, same pose, same clothes, except the man is the cleaned up version of the homeless man we had encountered at the stable.
Dream changes location and I'm at home with my boyfriend only to be attacked by the same nicely suited men that appeared when the homeless man had shown up at the stable and made the homeless man turn invisible. One of the men says," We've been looking for you a long time, Mr. Frez," and suddenly my boyfriend turns invisible and grabs me and carries me away. We get to a safe place and he turns visible again and explains that he's some sort of deeply under cover secret agent, that is so deeply under cover that he doesn't even know he's a secret agent until a certain word or phrase is used and suddenly he remembers everything. The men in the suits, his handlers, had just used that phrase. The homeless man was also an agent, kidnapped, brainwashed and was originally called Abraham, the son of my patient.
And I woke up.
